E-mail virus protection
A new option in 10.1 regarding E-mail protection is the ability to allow encrypted e-mail. In most cases, this was not necessary as the ports used for the encrypted e-mail were not the standard ports, but there were reports of some client software that did use the standard ports. SAV 10.1 now allows you to specify that you will have encrypted e-mail via your POP3 and/or SMTP outgoing e-mail. (Please note: encrypted e-mail is not scanned by the SAV product).
