Advantages of Switching from Solaris to Linux

• Linux programs can be used without re-building or porting.
• There are more Linux boxes at FNAL to develop/test with.

Disadvantages of Switching from Solaris to Linux

• You will need to test, port and/or rebuild for Linux
  all existing CGI scripts and executables on your web site.
